Picture the Hatfields and McCoys, but somehow worst.
That should give you a clear picture on how my family feel about the Calhoun's.
The story goes that they stole our land and the best steers right from under our noses.
They say that they ruined us and left us destitute.
They say that they betrayed us and that you can never trust a Calhoun.
So when I find myself trapped with him during a bad storm, I'm kind of wishing that the rain will wash him away.
The more time we spend down there, the more I'm starting to question the stories that I've heard about them.
Deacon Calhoun doesn't seem like a bad guy at all.
Maybe that's why I let him kiss me.
Now that I've had a taste though, I don't want to let him go.
Will giving into my heart cause my families destrucion once and for all though?
